Our story

It all began when Kara realized that our incredibly lovable downtown Ellijay needed something more for kids. Being parents of 3 children, we wanted a cost-effective way for both locals and visitors to having something for their children to do while still in walking distance to other local shops and restaurants. When the historic house on 71 River Street went up for sale, we jumped on the opportunity and renovated the inside and out, while keeping its historic and cozy and charm. With a love and passion for innovative toys, old-time candies, and a love for exploring the outdoors, we filled up our store and in March of 2022, we finally opened and have never looked back. We are proud to be a small, family owned business in our own hometown!
